Re: The Charleswood Senior Centre is starting an Annual Fundraising Drive and this is your opportunity to support the Centre.
Dear Member,
As a member of Charleswood Senior Centre, you know better than anyone the difference we make in people's lives.
For example, at the Charleswood Senior Centre, we have many members who are alone and often feel lonely. Here, loneliness can be eased by making new friends, improving ones' physical fitness, and feeling good about sharing time and talents as volunteers. Becoming part of our community has helped many grieve their loss and remain independent and vibrant. Each of us, has our own personal reasons why we cherish Charleswood Senior Centre and "together we can make a difference."
Please support our Centre's Annual Fundraising Drive. The Centre has a significant deficit this year due to an increase in operational costs and we need to work together to eliminate it. Our goal this year is to raise $18,000.00. You will receive a receipt for income tax purposes.
Donate today. Consider the convenience of making a monthly donation by dropping off post-dated cheques at the Centre. One-time donations can also be made at the Centre, in cash or by cheque. Know that your donations are helping us to help each other. All funds raised help the Charleswood Senior Centre continue to provide services for those 55 plus in our community.
The Charleswood Senior Centre means a great deal to all of us. All the Board members have participated in the life of the Centre in ways that we would not have thought possible. Everyone has formed new friendships and have broadened their horizons. We all take great pride in our new sense of purpose as volunteers.
The Centre's programs and services geared to the 55 plus age group support and enhance our independence, and well-being. We know first-hand that many of you feel the same commitment and pride in belonging to the Charleswood Senior Centre.
Please make a donation to our Centre and help us to ensure it remains our place to be together.
