It's hard to believe that we our distributing the newsletter for November and December. Time really does fly when you are having fun! I hope that everyone is enjoying out newly formatted newsletter: What's New In The Woods." I would like to congratulate Cam our Program Manager for doing such an awesome job creating a new look and name for the Centre's newsletter. It's easier to read and the art work on it makes it so pleasant to look at. I hope that everyone takes some time out of their busy day and checks out all of the upcoming programs. This is the first year that the Centre is open the week before Christmas and we are extremely excited to present our theme week "T'was The Week Before Christmas." Make sure you check out the programs for that week!
We are very proud of the Centre's partnership with the University of Winnipeg for our Fall Lecture Series. The University has organized our first three lectures beginning on Monday, November 14 at 1:00 PM. I would like to thank the University of Winnipeg for their help in creating this new and stimulating series. We are extremely excited to have such outstanding lecturers lecturing at the series. We sincerely hope that lots of seniors will attend, because we are never too old to learn something new!
I also wanted to thank those who donated to our annual letter of appeal. We certainly appreciate your continued support of the Centre. We look forward to meeting the changing needs of our seniors through a vast array of programs and services.
